Zombies, Vampires, Werewolves – they are all very much back in vogue, on small and big screens. Twilight, True Blood and of course The Walking Dead. Its first season was undoubtedly a slow-burn affair, but even in six short episodes it managed to establish convincing characterisations and story arcs, packing the sort of emotional heft and impact rarely expected of or achieved by genre film-making.
Season 2 therefore comes laden with hefty expectations, not helped by the departure of executive producer Frank Darabont. We have actually brought you this trailer before, but it has since been removed from YouTube. So here it is again, in case you missed it before. It looks like really good, strong stuff and if you haven’t seen season 1 yet, catch yourself up as quickly as you can – this is high quality television that is not to be missed.
