This week finally marks the release of The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, the eagerly anticipated prequel series to the cult-favourite 1982 film. It’s also an exciting collaboration between the Jim Henson Company and Netflix – resulting in a ten part series we cannot wait for. In the meantime, to really get us in the mood, we sat down with three of the talented vocal stars – Nathalie Emmanuel, Hannah John-Kamen and Shazad Latif.

We discuss the artistry that goes into making a show like this, and whether any of them were lucky enough to see the set (because, erm, we were). They talk about the experience of being a voice actor, their own relationship with the Dark Crystal property, and whether they enjoy being involved in something they have to keep so quiet about, or if they find it all rather difficult.
