To celebrate the eagerly-anticipated release of Everything Everywhere All At Once, the hugely acclaimed new film from Daniels, we sat down with them to find out all about their inventive, beautiful new journey.

Directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert (Swiss Army Man), collectively known as Daniels, the film is a hilarious and big-hearted sci-fi action-adventure about an exhausted Chinese American woman (Michelle Yeoh) who can’t seem to finish her taxes.

Speaking to the filmmakers, we chat about the genesis of the film and how they even began to contemplate starting their journey into the multiverse, how they settled on their incredible cast – including bringing Ke Huy Quan back to the screen after two decades behind it – and being the “first” multiverse film of 2022 before the big one (namely Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness) blessed us with its presence. All this and more in our interview, which you can watch below:

Please note that, due to circumstances beyond our control, the video cuts out towards the end of the interview.

Everything Everywhere All At Once opens in UK cinemas on May 13th.
