We had a very night the past Sunday at the sodden BAFTA ceremony. We were on the red carpet watching the stars arrive (see our pics here) and liveblogged the awards as they were handed out. It was great to see the complete absent of an overall winner and some surprises in the spread of awards.
One of the technological advances made at the event was the selection of 360 cameras which were placed at strategic points along the carpet. These allowed viewers to watch the arrivals as they happened, controlling the cameras all the while.
