A24 has launched a new official trailer for filmmaker Ari Aster’s new Western-noir dark comedy film ‘Eddington.’
Set during the pandemic, the ensemble film centres primarily on the rivalry between Sheriff Joe Cross (Joaquin Phoenix) and Mayor Ted Garcia (Pedro Pascal).
The conflict begins when Joe refuses to wear a face mask at a local grocery store, which leads him to run for mayor of the New Mexico town of Eddington, challenging Ted, who thought he would run unopposed.
The cast also includes Emma Stone, Austin Butler, Luke Grimes, Deirdre O’Connell, Michael Ward, and Clifton Collins Jr.
