It seems a distinct oddity that no-one is a Haunted House film has ever seen a Haunted House film.
One kitchen drawer opening by itself or a whispered conversation with a darkened corridor and I’d out of there quicker than you can scream bloody murder until your lungs exploded. A number of unusual happenings don’t seem to bother Guy Pearce and Katie Holmes though as there opening a new front door and a can of spooky worms in this new clip from Troy Nixey’s Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark.
We saw an extended clip from the film at Big Screen this past weekend and the evil beings were revealed and didn’t disappoint, and with Guillermo Del Toro giving this one his creative once over this one should have enough chill in its bones to elevate it from its competitors.
