The controversial next installment of the Devil May Cry franchise, DmC has finally got a release date. If you are looking forward to some hack and slash action with the new look Dante will have to wait until next year. January 15 2013 to be exact. News also hits us that there will be a PC version that is scheduled for later in 2013
A new character has also been detailed, a female runaway called Kat. Read the character biog from the press release below, and then scroll down some more to see some artwork and screens.
Kat
Kat is a former runaway that joined The Order very early in her life. She is a medium and a gifted psychic who can see into Limbo, the demon realm, but not directly interact with it in the way that Dante does. She is the right hand girl of the Leader of The Order and devotes her very life to him, often putting herself in grave danger to gather intelligence from Limbo.
There is a sweet innocence about Kat’s world view and logic, but when it comes to her specialist subject, the demon realm, she is an undoubted expert. Kat is The Order’s ‘eyes and ears’ and is tasked with guiding Dante on his mission through Limbo.
DmC Devil May Cry will be a featured game for Capcom at this years E3 so hopefully some hands on time will be granted (we’re going you see)
