Dimension Films have acquired the North American distribution rights to Penthouse North.
Written by David Loughery (Obsessed), Penthouse North centers on a reclusive photojournalist who lives quietly in a New York penthouse, until a smooth but sadistic criminal looking for a hidden fortune enters her life.
Joseph Ruben (The Forgotten) is attached to direct, with Michael Keaton (Jackie Brown) and Michelle Monaghan (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) in line to play the two leads.
Production is due to start in Ottawa next month.
