Sabotage (previously known as Ten and Breacher) is due to hit cinemas in January, and now production is starting on Ayer’s Fury.

The WWII-set action/drama boasts an all-star cast, and Ayer has shared the first official photo of that cast over on Twitter.

Brad Pitt takes the lead as army sergeant Wardaddy, seen below sat atop the tank, which lends its name to the film as the eponymous Fury.

Outnumbered and outgunned, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.

Logan Lerman, Shia LaBeouf, Michael Peña, and Jon Bernthal can be seen riding the tank alongside Pitt below, with Ayer directing from his own script.

Fury is set to be released in the US on November 14th, 2014, and certainly looks like it could be a contender come Oscar season this time next year. No word yet on a UK release date, but hopefully it will likely be arriving towards the end of next year or the start of 2015, as is the cast with most contenders.
