Netflix has given us all a little early Christmas present with a brand new trailer for the third season of ‘Cobra Kai’ alongside an announcement that the premiere has now been moved up to January 1st.

Season 3 finds everyone reeling in the aftermath of the violent high school brawl between their dojos, which has left Miguel in a precarious condition. While Daniel searches for answers in his past and Johnny seeks redemption, Kreese further manipulates his vulnerable students with his own vision of dominance. The soul of the Valley is at stake, and the fate of every student and sensei hangs in the balance.

‘The Karate Kid II’ actors Tamlyn Tomita and Yuji Okumoto reprise their roles of Kumiko and Chozen Toguchi respectively. Ralph Macchio and William Zabka both return to mentor their respect kids.

Season 3 will now premiere globally on Netflix  January 1st.

The first two seasons are now streaming, having come to Netflix earlier this year.
