‘Ghostbusters’ fans rejoice, the new British documentary ‘Cleanin’ Up The Town: Remembering Ghostbusters’ will receive its European Premiere on December 3rd at the BFI IMAX.

Directed and produced by the UK brother and sister team of Anthony and Claire Bueno the documentary that celebrates the legacy of the iconic franchise pays a fitting tribute to the whole creative team behind the global phenomenon that continues to enchant audiences to this day.

The definitive retrospective documentary is the result of twelve years of research and production. It charts the making of the original 1984, featuring interviews with director Ivan Reitman, and lead cast Dan Aykroyd, Sigourney Weaver, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson. In addition, the documentary hallmarks the extraordinary achievements made by the filmmakers working in visual effects era before the game-changing ‘Jurassic Park’. It reveals a story of ingenuity, innovation and emphasises just how ambitious an undertaking the making of ‘Ghostbusters’ really was.

The documentary received its World Premiere appropriately in Calgary where Jason Reitman’s ‘Ghostbusters’ has just completed principal photography.

The documentary will have a theatrical release from December before hitting various VOD platforms.
