Prime Video has dropped the adrenaline-charged official trailer for season 2 of ‘Citadel,’ alongside confirmation of its highly anticipated return date.
The globe-trotting espionage saga resumes with elite agents Mason Kane (Richard Madden), Nadia Sinh (Priyanka Chopra Jonas), and Bernard Orlick (Stanley Tucci). Once the backbone of the now-destroyed Citadel agency, they’re pulled back into the shadows when a chilling new threat rises from the wreckage. The culprit? Manticore, a shadowy syndicate with strings tied to the world’s most powerful families.
The new trailer teases a labyrinth of deception and high-octane action as the trio assembles a fresh team of operatives. Loyalties blur, alliances fracture, and every mission feels like walking a tightrope over a pit of vipers. The promise is clear: no one is safe, and everyone is suspect.
Returning faces include Lesley Manville and Ashleigh Cummings, while the series expands its ensemble with a wave of intriguing new characters. Among them are Jack Reynor as Hutch, Matt Berry as Franke Sharpe, and Lina El Arabi as Celine. Additional talent joining the espionage chessboard includes Merle Dandridge, Gabriel Leone, and Rayna Vallandingham.
Behind the scenes, the series continues under the high-powered creative engine of Amazon MGM Studios and AGBO, the production company spearheaded by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo. Executive producers Anthony Russo, Angela Russo-Otstot, and Scott Nemes return, with David Weil serving as showrunner, director, and executive producer. Joe Russo and Greg Yaitanes also step behind the camera to direct.
