Leaping into the Hollywood spotlight with a band of Inglorious Basterds Christoph Waltz has a lot of momentum coming with him to 2011, which sees his starring in three huge movies.

Playing the husband of Reese Witherspoon, made a cuckold by Robert Pattinson in Water for Elephants, Waltz will also don the red cape of Cardinal Richelieu for Paul W. S. Anderson’s The Three (D) Musketeers and the third film for 2011 sees the man playing another kind of villain for Michel Gondry for The Green Hornet.

In the video below Waltz talks about his character, Chudnofsky, and we’ve seen one of these character focused featurettes recently with Cameron Diaz’s character and there’s plenty to catch up on if this is your first time hearing about the film.
