Chris Hemsworth and Tiffany Haddish are to team up for a brand new buddy cop comedy going by the name of ‘Down Under Cover’ and has a theme that involves stripping.

Hemsworth will play a detective who goes undercover to crack a series of baffling casino heists in which the prime suspects are a troupe of Australian male erotic dancers.

He’s forced to take the partner no one else will, a lone wolf played by Haddish who does things only one way: hers. Together they have to work as an unlikely duo to solve the crime of their careers.

The film is said to be in the same vein as ’48 Hours’ and Rush Hour. Peter Hoare will pen the script.

Haddish will also produce the film alongside Hemsworth’s Thematic Entertainment.
