Chris Hemsworth is currently in negotiations to star in the upcoming ‘Transformers’ and G.I Joe crossover franchise.

The crossover was teased at the end of the last ‘Transformer’s’ offering, ‘Rise of The Beasts’ in which was officially confirmed at this year’s CinemaCon by Paramount.

No other details are currently available for the upcoming crossover.

Di Bonaventura, Mark Vahradian, Michael Bay, Tom DeSanto & Don Murphy will produce the crossover, and Steven Spielberg and Hasbro Entertainment will executive produce.

The two brands have previously crossed paths in Marvel comics, but this marks their first collaboration on the big screen. At the end of ‘Rise of the Beasts,’ Anthony Ramos’ character, Noah, encounters a shady government operative named Agent Burke, portrayed by Michael Kelly. After saving the world with the Autobots, Burke hands Noah a business card, revealing that he works for the G.I. Joes, an elite team of commandos.

Hemsworth can currently be seen in George Miller’s ‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.’
