Bryan Singer has taken to his Instagram account to reveal that Jubilee will be making an appearance in next year’s X-Men: Apocalypse. The character has been spotted in the background of a number of the X-Men movies, but never given a speaking part. Hopefully that’s set to change in this upcoming release!
Jubilee will be played by newcomer Lana Condor, an actress with literally no credits on her IMDb page! Chances are she won’t have a massive role then, but X-Men: Apocalypse is getting a little crowded now. With any luck, Singer will avoid some of the mistakes made in previous movies by having too many cameos.
In the comic books, Jubilee was a teenage mutant who became a member of the X-Men and a close ally of Wolverine’s. Sher able to release colourful explosive plasmoids and detonate matter at a sub-atomic level.
