Apple TV has unveiled the official trailer for ‘Brothers,’ a new comedy series starring and executive-produced by Academy Award winner Matthew McConaughey and Academy Award nominee Woody Harrelson.
The eight-episode series reunites the longtime friends as fictionalised versions of themselves, with their real-life chemistry fueling a story that takes their friendship into unexpectedly chaotic territory.
In ‘Brothers,’ Woody and Matthew discover a decades-old family secret that could change everything: they might actually be brothers.
The story begins after Woody’s daughter’s engagement falls apart. Looking for a change of scenery, Woody packs up the family and heads to Austin for an extended stay at Matthew’s ranch. What starts as a chance for the family to heal soon takes a bizarre turn when Matthew’s mother, Ma Mac, played by Holland Taylor, accidentally reveals a long-buried secret.
Could Woody and Matthew really be brothers?
Determined to uncover the truth, Woody turns Matthew’s ranch upside down as he begins investigating their shared past. Meanwhile, Matthew faces another major life decision as he considers a potential run for Governor of Texas.
The ensemble cast alongside McConaughey and Harrelson includes Natalie Martinez, Brittany Ishibashi, Nolan Almeida, Ella Grace Helton, Noah Carganilla, Highdee Kuan, Oona Yaffe and Holland Taylor.
The series is showrun and executive produced by multi-Emmy Award nominee and Peabody Award winner Lee Eisenberg.

‘Brothers’ will premiere on Apple TV on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, with the first two episodes released at launch. A new episode will then arrive every Wednesday through November 4, 2026.
