MUBI has released the official trailer for Christopher Andrews’ award-winning directorial debut ‘Bring Them Down.’
The movie follows two feuding farming families in present-day rural Ireland. Michael (Christopher Abbott), the last son of a farming family, lives an isolated existence with his ailing father Ray. Haunted by a terrible accident in his past, Michael has isolated himself from the world and is dedicated to his prized flock. When the ongoing conflict with rival farmer Gary and his unpredictable son Jack (Barry Keoghan) stirs old tensions and grievances, it triggers a chain of events that take increasingly violent turns, permanently altering both families.
The cast includes Barry Keoghan and Christopher Abbott alongside Colm Meaney, Nora-Jane Noone, Paul Ready and Susan Lynch.
