Daniel Radcliffe’s first feature film following the conclusion of the Harry Potter series has got a lot of people talking, and if you’re coming late to the party, then you can catch up on all our coverage of the film right here.

Naturally, we’re all interested to see the direction in which Radcliffe’s career will go, and it’s definitely looking to be an interesting one, with The Woman in Black falling nicely into the thriller/horror genre.

We’ve just been sent a brilliant 60-second sneak peek (technically, 72-second clip, but who’s counting?) that acts as a kind of mini trailer, giving a great look at the haunting feel we can expect from it when it lands next year.

The film has been directed by James Watkins, director of 2008’s thriller/horror Eden Lake starring Michael Fassbender, with the brilliant Jane Goldman penning the script, whose credits include Kick-Ass and X-Men: First Class, based on the original novel by Susan Hill.

“A young lawyer (Daniel Radcliffe) travels to a remote village where he discovers the vengeful ghost of a scorned woman is terrorizing the locals.”

The Woman in Black is set to come out here in the UK on 10th February, so it’s only a few months before we can see Radcliffe’s return to the big screen in an entirely different role than we’re used to. Judging by this clip, and everything else we’ve seen, he’s done an excellent job transitioning from Harry Potter to a career beyond the series we’ve come to know him for, and I’m interested to see what other films he’ll be choosing following on from this. Without further ado, here’s the great new look at the film for your viewing pleasure.
