Well
Spectacular imagery and colour comes through in Chapter 3 as the ‘Na’vi people’ and culture is explored. I loved the little playing cards throughout the book, they brought the characters such as the ‘Woodsprite’ to life and help the reader understand the significant depth to the film. Chapter 4, Machinery of Conflict, did not really leave a lasting impression on me, perhaps that is a personal preference.
Overall this 3D book is fabulously designed and carefully crafted, much like the film. The little extras make the book extremely niche, and even though my eyes feel a little funny after wearing 3D glasses, it was well worth it.
