Finally, the wait is over with this afternoon’s announcement Bond 25 cast. There was, however, no title revealed which made the whole shebang a little disappointing. But alongside returning cast members Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Jeffrey Wright, Lea Seydoux and Rory Kinnear are newcomers Rami Malek (playing the villain), Ana de Armas, Dali Benssalah, Lashana Lynch and Billy Magnussen.

Cast & Filmmaker Interviews

The announcement was made in Jamaica, where’s Bond’s big screen adventures began in Dr. No. In March, Barbara Broccoli personally ruled out one suggestion – Shatterhand – after being asked to autograph a fan-created title treatment. Neal Purvis and Robert Wade return to the series and new writers for the film include Scott Burns and the incredible Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Which is the best news.

Bond 25Broccoli revealed that Bond is not on active service when the film starts, but the film has already shot in Norway and will travel to Pinewood in London and Italy.

Daniel Craig will reprise the role of the suited and booted uber spy and womaniser, James Bond, for the final time.

Cary Fukunaga is directing the film after stepping into the void left by Danny Boyle who walked away from the project due to “creative differences”.
