The A-list cast of ‘The Devil All The Time has two new additions, Bill Skarsgard and Eliza Scanlen, who join the project which will be distributed by Netflix.

The ‘IT’ and ‘Sharp Objects’ stars join Tom Holland, Chris Evans, Mia Wasikowska, Robert Pattinson and Tony Award winner Gabriel Ebert.

Antonio Campos’ adaptation of Donald Ray Pollock’s southern gothic novel which takes place in a forgotten backwoods Ohio town where a storm of faith, violence and redemption brews. Out of desperation to save his dying wife, Willard Russell turns to prayer which succumbs to sacrifice. This sets his son (Holland) on the path from bullied kid to a man who knows when to take action.

Campos is directing and co-wrote with Paulo Campos. Jake Gyllenhaal and Riva Marker are producing through their Nine Stories banner along with Randall Poster and Max Born. Annie Marter and Jacob Jaffke are exec producing.

Production is set to start in February.

Skarsgard has been keeping himself busy for the last couple of years, He had the star turn as Pennywise the clown in the ‘IT’ remake as well as starring in ‘Deadpool 2’. His future projects will see him reprise the role of Pennywise the ‘IT’ sequel. He also has the comedy-drama ‘Villians’ alongside Maika Monroe on the horizon and ‘Emperor’ in which he plays Philip II of Spain.

Scanlen had her breakthrough with starring as Amy Adams sister in ‘Sharp Objects’ her performance went on to win her a role in Greta Gerwig’s forthcoming ‘Little Woman’ starring Timothee Chalamet, Florence Pugh and Saoirse Ronan.
