Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling, Ian Ziering, Brian Austin Green and Gabrielle Carteris have all been confirmed to appear, catching up years after the end of the original show – which aired from 1990 to 2000 – and will show the actors planning a reboot series.
An official statement from Fox, who are behind the reunion states;
“Having gone their separate ways since the original series ended 19 years ago, Jason, Jennie, Ian, Gabrielle, Brian and Tori reunite when one of them suggests it’s time to get a ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ reboot up and running But getting it going may make for an even more delicious soap than the reboot itself What will happen when first loves, old romances, friends and frenemies come back together, as this iconic cast – whom the whole world watched grow up together – attempts to continue from where they left off?”

Issues have already begun to arise amongst the series fans as two of the original cast are missing from the line, Luke Perry and Shannan Doherty.
Darren Star created the original series which was produced by Aaron Spelling. It followed the lives of a group of friends living in the upscale and star-studded community of Beverly Hills, California as they transition from high school to college and into the adult world.
We spoke to Jason Priestley last year for season 2 of Universal TV’s Private Eyes. We actually quizzed the actor on a possible reunion back then and he was very much in favour of the idea.
