Prime Video has unveiled the first-look images and a special preview clip for ‘Bait,’ its upcoming comedy series starring Riz Ahmed, offering an early taste of a sharp, chaotic ride powered by ambition, anxiety and very bad timing.

In ‘Bait,’ Ahmed stars as Shah Latif, a struggling actor standing on the edge of obscurity with one final shot at success. That shot arrives in the form of an audition of a lifetime, but instead of salvation, it detonates everything around him. Told over four increasingly unhinged days, the series tracks Shah as his carefully constructed life unravels, with his family, his ex-lover and the wider world all chiming in on a single question: is he really the right man for the job?

The ensemble cast brings considerable firepower alongside Ahmed. Guz Khan stars as Zulfi, with Sheeba Chaddha as Tahira, Sajid Hasan as Parvez, Aasiya Shah as Q, Weruche Opia as Felicia, and Ritu Arya as Yasmin.

Behind the camera, ‘Bait’ boasts an equally impressive creative team. The series is executive produced by Ahmed and Allie Moore for Left Handed, with Jake Fuller executive producing on behalf of Jax Media. Ben Karlin serves as executive producer and showrunner alongside Ahmed. The series is produced by Jax Media and Amazon MGM Studios.

All six episodes will drop 25 March, 2026, exclusively on Prime Video.
