‘Furiosa’ star Anya Taylor-Joy has been cast in the Netflix adaptation of ‘How To Kill Your Family.’
Taylor-Joy will take on the lead role of the murderous Grace Bernard in an adaptation of Bella Mackie’s best-selling novel.
The book follows the story of Grace, the illegitimate daughter of a millionaire who abandoned her and her mother, ignoring her mother’s pleas for help as she was close to dying. Grace vows revenge and decides to kill every member of her father’s family, leaving him for last.

Mackie serves as co-executive producer on the eight-episode series from Sid Gentle Films Ltd, which also produced ‘Killing Eve.’ Emma Moran (“Extraordinary”) is serving as lead writer and executive producer, with Taylor-Joy also EPing for her LadyKiller Productions Inc. Sally Woodward Gentle, Lizzie Rusbridger and Lee Morris are executive producing for Sid Gentle. Mackie is a co-executive producer.
The news broke of her casting on Wednesday at the Edinburgh TV Festival. Further cast and other details will be announced in due course.
