Katherine Heigl, who will also serve as executive producer, has been attached to the film, originally titled Age of Adeline, since May, but has failed to get the project off the ground. However, with Tennant now being rumoured to direct, production could get underway early next year.
Adaline will see a beautiful woman, who hasn’t aged for 100 years, meet a man who may risk his life to help her regain her mortality. The screenplay was penned by Mills Goodloe and Sal Pascowitz, with amendments made by Allison Burnett. Lakeshore Entertainment and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment will co-produce.
