Wrestling fans are in for a treat come April when HBO premiere a new documentary on the gentle giant himself, Andre the Giant.
The documentary features a star-studded line-up of commentators including The Princess Bride stars Robin Wright, in which Andre starred as Fezzik, the giant, Billy Crystal and wrestler’s Hulk Hogan and Arnold Schwarzenegger whilst exploring not only the wrestler’s charisma but also the sadness he harboured.

WWE, HBO Sports and Bill Simmons served as co-producers on André the Giant. For Simmons, who created the website and podcast network The Ringer, the film is the first in a forthcoming slate of documentaries, Ringer Films.
Andre the Giant premieres April 10 on HBO.
