Amy Adams (Junebug), Rashida Jones (The Social Network) and Chris Cooper (The Town) are in advanced talks to join Jason Segal (Despicable Me) in Disney’s untitled Muppet film, THR are reporting.
Adams is touted to play Segal’s girlfriend, Rashida an ABC exec and Cooper a greedy villian.
Segal wrote the screenplay alongside Nicholas Stoller, which follows the Muppets as they reunite to put on a show in order to save a movie studio.
James Bobin (The Flight of the Conchords) is attached to direct, with filming expected to start in November.
