Deadline has just posted a “trailer-style piece” for David O Russell’s (Three Kings) new film, The fighter, starring Mark Wahlberg, Christian Bale, and Amy Adams.
The trailer was put together specifically for last night’s season finale of Mad Men, the popular show watched by “high end, smart, [and] savvy” audience members according to a Paramount spokesman. One reason why it was made is because many awards voters watch the show and it would a great place to get the attention of these people before the release of the film on December 10.
The piece is actually pretty interesting especially if you are trying to understand why Wahlberg continues to fight despite his losing record. I for one enjoyed the video and am extremely excited for this new boxing movie which could be an Oscar contender.
