A star-studded voice ensemble is stepping into a world of magic and mystery. ‘The Turning Door’ follows Ariadlyn, a young girl sent to bed as a lively party continues below. Defying her bedtime, she sneaks into her parents’ room and finds an ornate wooden box — a gateway to a fantastical realm known as The Turning. When she opens it, she’s thrust into an extraordinary world filled with giants, whales, shapeshifters, armies, and acrobatic monkeys. To save her parents — frozen in the real world — Ariadlyn must seek a mysterious sorceress and her crystal vial, embarking on a journey that will teach her the true meaning of growing up.

The newly announced animated family fantasy epic is written and directed by filmmaker and VFX visionary Nicholas Ashe Bateman (The Wanting Mare).
Produced by Christine D’Souza Gelb of 2AM (Babygirl, Past Lives) alongside Bateman and Hunter Hall of Maere Studios (An Almost Christmas Story), the film promises a richly imaginative tale that blends wonder, adventure and emotional depth.
