Adam Sandler has teamed up with Lebron James for his next Netflix movie ‘Hustle’.

Sandler will play an American basketball scout who, after being unjustly fired, discovers a talented player abroad and decides to bring him to the U.S. to prove that they both have what it takes to make it in the NBA.

Jeremiah Zagar (We Are Animals) will direct from a script by Taylor Materne and Will Fetters. Sandler’s Happy Madison, Roth/Kirschenbaum Films, and LeBron James and Maverick Carter’s SpringHill Entertainment are producing.

It is currently unknown as to when the production may start on the Sandler vehicle.

Sandler’s last role saw him delve into a character we haven’t seen from the comedian before in ‘Uncut Gems’. As well as wowing audiences with his performance he also won a Spirit Award. Previous to that he starred in ‘Murder Mystery’ alongside Jennifer Aniston and voiced the character of Dracula in ‘Hotel Transylvania 3: A Monster Vacation.
