2. The T-800 Returns (And Looks Awful)

Despite an impressive cast which included Christian “Batman” Bale, Terminator: Salvation was always a hard sell, especially as it took place in the generic future world that the previous instalments had been smart enough to only hint at.

It certainly had its moments, but one of the best parts of the underwhelming movie should have been John Connor coming face to face with a T-800 Terminator. Unfortunately, with Arnold Schwarzenegger busy being the Governor of California, director McG utilised a terrible looking CGI version of the actor which killed any excitement the scene could and should have had.

The video game like special effects left were massively distracting, and the whole thing ended up feeling very rushed and very forced.
