Over the past week, we have been inundated with awards and their nominations covering some of the best Film and TV to hit us over the past 12 months. Today marks the day for the nominations for the most prestigious of them all, The 92nd Academy Awards.

Todd Phillips’ ‘Joker’ takes the lead with 11 nominations from Best Picture through to cinematography while Sam Mendes’ ‘1917′, Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Once Upon A Time in Hollywood’ and Martin Scorsese’s ‘The Irishman following closely behind with 10 each. With no room for women in the director’s category, Bong Joon Ho’s also scored a massive 6 nominations.

The 92nd Oscars® will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2020, at the Dolby Theatre® at Hollywood & Highland Center® in Hollywood, and will be televised live on the ABC Television Network.  The Oscars also will be televised live in more than 225 countries and territories worldwide.
