New poster time for Ariel Vroman’s big screen telling of the story of Richard Kuklinski, a contract killer whose prolific career as a hitman on America’s East coast spanned four decades and, Kuklinski claimed, claimed the lives over 250 men.

Based on Anthony Bruno’s book The Iceman: The True Story of a Cold-Blooded Killer Vroman’s film has an excellent cast with Michael Shannon taking the lead with James Franco, Benicio del Toro and Elias Koteas in support.

Where the film is being sold is on the curious circumstnace that during his time as a contract killer he had a wife and family who knew nothing of his activities until his arrest and trial.

There’s no firm release dates so far, but this may well be one to look out for.
