Marvel have released the first clip from Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and three minutes of the four minute trailer is comprised of an entire scene from the movie titled “Secure The Ship”. It picks up from the sequence in the original teaser which saw Steve Rogers jumping out of a plane…without a parachute!
The trailer also includes some new footage, but the clip is particularly exciting as it offers up a look at Batroc the Leaper in action as Captain America and the Black Widow go on the offensive! Many fans were uncertain when Anthony Russo and Joe Russo were hired to helm the sequel, but this footage should easily put any of those concerns at ease.
After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier finds Steve Rogers – aka Captain America – living quietly in Washington, DC, and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Jackson, and Robert Redford, Captain America: The Winter Soldier is set to be released in 3D and IMAX 3D in the UK on 26th March and in the US on April 4th.
