Trance-Teaser-Poster-Rosario-DawsonDanny Boyle makes his eagerly-anticipated return to the big screen this spring with Trance, following the time off he took to direct the Opening Ceremony of the Summer Olympics last year.

The New Year brought with it a rather brilliant first trailer, giving us a great first full look at the film.

And following it up was the first teaser poster, which launched a new set earlier in the week. Now Yahoo Movies have given us the second in the set, which sees the face of Rosario Dawson buried beneath the circles.

“A fine art auctioneer mixed up with a gang joins forces with a hypnotherapist to recover a lost painting. As boundaries between desire, reality and hypnotic suggestion begin to blur the stakes rise faster than anyone could have anticipated.”

James McAvoy, Dawson, and Vincent Cassel star in the leading trio, with support coming from Tuppence Middleton, Danny Sapani, Lee Nicholas Harris, and Wahab Sheikh.

Boyle is directing from a script co-written by Joe Ahearne (Apparitions) and John Hodge (Trainspotting), partly inspired by Ahearne’s 2001 TV movie of the same name.

Trance will be released in the UK on 27th March, and we can’t wait for it to arrive. No word yet on a US release date, but that should be changing soon. Fox Searchlight have the Stateside distribution rights, and will hopefully be releasing it across the Atlantic in the spring too. For now, here’s the great new teaser poster, which you can click through to enlarge. We can no doubt expect at least a third in the set for Vincent Cassel, and we’ll have it for you as soon as it hits.

Since graduating, I spend as much time as possible watching films/TV shows, reading books, and listening to music. So getting to write about what I love is nothing short of awesome. Biggest film-related hope for 2014/ever: Guy Ritchie announcing the RocknRolla sequel is finally moving forward.
