It looks like we can add yet another DC Comics adaptation to Warner Bros.’ ever expanding list of them as Lobo is once again being developed by the studio. This time, they’ve brought in Pan and Wonder Woman scribe Jason Fuchs to work on a draft of the screenplay.

The movie has been in various stages of development for years now, but it’s thought that Fuchs will be starting from scratch in order to develop his own take on the character. The studio is clearly happy with his work on Wonder Woman then, but Lobo is a very different type of “hero” who could very well follow Deadpool by starring in an R-Rated blockbuster.

An intergalactic bounty hunter with a foul temper and even fouler mouth, Lobo travels through space on a motorbike, so this would certainly be a very unique adaptation!

It remains to be seen at this stage just how closely this movie will stick to the source material (there have been two very different versions of Lobo in the DC Comics Universe, the second of which is massively unpopular but more movie friendly) and how closely it will be tied to the likes of Justice League. Regardless, it’s about time Lobo actually happened!
