With a Summer 2014 release date already in place, production is very much underway on Fast and Furious 7, now three weeks into filming.
Vin Diesel has been his usual self in recent days, sharing the first images from the set. And now he’s gone one step further, giving a quick little video update from the set in this first, thirty-second production featurette, along with a couple of new images on Facebook.
The plot details are naturally being kept under wraps for now. But if you saw Fast and Furious 6 this year, then you’ll have a solid idea of where things will be heading in at least a general direction next summer.
Diesel and Paul Walker are leading another stellar cast, joined by Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges, Jason Statham, Nathalie Emmanuel, Lucas Black, Kurt Russell, Tony Jaa, and Djimon Hounsou.
James Wan, who’s coming off the back of the record-breaking Insidious: Chapter 2, is at the helm in place of Justin Lin this time around, with Chris Morgan once more penning the script.
Fast and Furious 7 will be hitting cinemas screens on July 11th, 2014 in the US, with its UK release date currently slated for two weeks later on 25th July. In the meantime, here’s the first production featurette. Enjoy.
