Damian-LewisDamian Lewis has soared to new heights of recognition in the past year with his Emmy-winning leading role in Homeland. Now Lewis has partnered up with Jaguar with their short film, Desire, inspired by the new F-TYPE.

The teaser trailer for the coming short film, which Lewis will lead, has debuted, with music coming from the equally rising artist, Lana Del Rey, whose song, Burning Desire, is being used exclusively by Jaguar.

“The film tells the story of Clark (Lewis), who delivers cars for a living, running into trouble after a chance encounter with a mysterious, young woman, played by Shannyn Sossamon (40 Days and 40 Nights, A Knight’s Tale, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang), in the middle of a lawless desert.

Directed by Adam Smith, this is a story of betrayal, retribution, passion and greed.”

The short will be directed by Adam Smith (Doctor Who), and is being developed by Ridley Scott Associates.

Jaguar are encouraging viewers awaiting the short to get involved, and you can head over to the official site to keep up to date with all the latest news.

Whilst we await the development and arrival of the short film itself, here’s the first teaser trailer to set the tone.
