BAFTA mask 585x227 Exclusive Look at the BAFTA 2014 Best Picture Artwork We’re days away from the biggest night in the British Film Calendar as this Sunday the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden plays host to the annual BAFTA awards ceremony.

It has been a fine year for British film as is evidenced by the award nominees, and whatever happens on Sunday night we’re richer for having a global spotlight thrown our way. For the past few years HeyUGuys have been in the privileged position of unveiling the official BAFTA artwork for the Best Picture nominees and today we continue that tradition.

Five films contest the Best Picture category – 12 Years a Slave, American Hustle, Captain Phillips, Gravity and Philomena and the sheer variety of subject matter tells of a great year for filmmaking.

Here is the official BAFTA Best Picture artwork, designed by Human After All and illustrated by La Boca – very limited edition prints of each cover are available from La Boca’s online store.

Join us on Sunday night as we’ll be at the Royal Opera House liveblogging the results as they come in. It’ll be a great night – see you there!
