For many, Wizards of Waverly Place, played a formative part in their childhood, with the original Disney series a big hit amongst youngsters, and of course starred the now megastar, Selena Gomez. Well, the show has now returned, and David Henrie is back as Justin, older, slightly wiser – and with a new cast around him.
To mark the return of this spin-off series, we had the pleasure in speaking to Henrie alongside many of his new, younger co-stars. They discuss the legacy of the show, how much it was to shoot, and of course, we talk about the return of a certain actress….

Synopsis
Wizards Beyond Waverly Place follows an adult Justin Russo, who has chosen to lead a normal, mortal life with his family, Giada, Roman and Milo. When Justin’s sister Alex brings Billie to his home seeking help, Justin realizes he must dust off his magical skills to mentor the wizard-in-training while also juggling his everyday responsibilities — and safeguarding the future of the Wizard World.
Wizards Beyond Waverly Place premieres the first nine episodes on Disney+ on Wednesday, Oct. 30.
