To mark the cinema and Digital HD release of THE VILLAINESS on 15th September, we’re delighted to be giving away 2 pairs of tickets to its UK Premiere at FrightFest on Sunday 27th August.
From acclaimed Korean director Byung-gil Jung (Confession of Murder), THE VILLAINESS is a stunning vengeance film that draws on inspiration from western classics such as Nikita & Kill Bill. It follows the story of trained killer Sook-hee (Kim Ok-bin) who, from a tender age, has been ruthlessly raised in China as a deadly assassin in-waiting, primed to kill upon command. After the death of her mentor, she arrives in South Korea to contract as a government agent, with a promise of freedom after 10 years of loyal service. However, two men from her past make an unexpected appearance in her life, bringing out dark secrets from her past.
FrightFest will be running in cinemas across London on 24th – 28th August. THE VILLAINESS screening will take place at 8.45pm on Sunday 27th August at Cineworld Leicester Square.
