His mother, Concha, insane with rage, wreaks deranged revenge on her cheating husband. The young child, driven insane by the incident, is sent to an asylum where he must spend his childhood trying to overcome the devastating violence.

When the boy (played by the director’s son Axel Jodorowsky) reaches adolescence, he’s released into the care of his unhinged and vengeful mother. This sets off a chain of increasingly crazed and disturbing events that need to be seen to be believed in an outrageously nightmarish trip, that takes us back and forth between its twisted timelines and haunting, hallucinogenic landscapes.
