Netflix has dropped the official trailer for ‘War Machine,’ a pulse-pounding sci-fi action thriller led by ‘Reacher’ star Alan Ritchson. The film is set to premiere globally on the streaming service on March 6.
Set deep within a remote forest during the brutal final phase of U.S. Army Ranger selection, the story begins as a high-stakes training exercise for an elite unit. What should be a controlled simulation quickly spirals into something far more sinister, transforming the wilderness into a hunting ground where survival becomes terrifyingly real.
As fear, exhaustion, and creeping paranoia fracture the team’s unity, they realise they are not alone. Stalking them is an advanced mechanoid predator, engineered with lethal precision and seemingly unstoppable intent. The soldiers must confront not only the relentless machine but also the unravelling limits of their own endurance.
Alongside Ritchson, the film features a formidable ensemble cast including Dennis Quaid, Stephan James, Jai Courtney, Esai Morales, Blake Richardson, Keiynan Lonsdale, and Daniel Webber.
War Machine is directed by Patrick Hughes (The Hitman’s Bodyguard, The Expendables 3), who co-wrote the screenplay with James Beaufort.
