In what has to be the best Olympic opening ceremony of all time, Danny Boyle (Creative Director of the Opening Ceremony) treated us to a VT of Daniel Craig turning up at Buckingham Palace as 007 to meet the actual Queen of England in a filmed called Happy and Glorious! The scene saw them take to a helicopter equipped with Union Jack as both the Queen and Craig jumped from it to land in the Olympic stadium. It was really a marvel and was just one snippet of the genius that Boyle created.
