Due out at the end of the summer this year in the UK, Neighborhood Watch promises to be one of the comedy highlights of the year (alongside the likes of This Is 40, which had its first trailer debut this weekend).

Director Akiva Schaffer, a Saturday Night Live regular, returns to the big screen after his 2007 feature debut, Hot Rod, working from a script co-written by the brilliant team of Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen.

We got the first trailer back in February, and now have two new images of the leading cast to share with you, via Yahoo Movies, giving us another look at Ben Stiller, Vinch Vaughn, Jonah Hill, and Richard Ayoade. Also joining them will be Rosemarie DeWitt, Billy Crudup, Will Forte, and Doug Jones.

“An outrageous comedy in which four everyday suburban guys (played by Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill and Richard Ayoade) come together to form a neighborhood watch group, but only as an excuse to escape their humdrum lives one night a week.  But when they accidentally discover that their town has become overrun with aliens posing as ordinary suburbanites, they have no choice but to save their neighborhood — and the world — from total extermination.”

Neighborhood Watch will be with us in the UK on 29th August, having been to North America a month earlier on 27th July. The leading four comedians are brilliant, and the writing combination of Goldberg and Rogen never fails, so this is definitely one to look out for.
