It’s now common practise for directors to tease their forthcoming movies during production. Michael Bay is one of those not known for his subtlety, and this sneak peek behind the scenes of Transformers: The Last Knight is no exception.
Strapping returning leading man Mark Wahlberg and newcomer Laura Haddock to a giant spinning contraption seems like a good idea, but the glee in Bay’s eyes is something to behold.
The two actors are joined in this fifth go-around for the metal monsterthon by Sir Anthony Hopkins, recently seen to much acclaim in the new Westworld series, Josh Duhamel, Isabela Moner and Jerrod Carmichael.

Optimus Prime finding his home planet, Cybertron, now a dead planet, which he comes to find he was responsible for killing. He finds a way to bring the planet back to life, but in order to do so he needs to find an artifact, and that artifact is on Earth .
God no more. It’s a law of diminishing returns. I just hope this makes no money and Bay never gets another job.
