The trailer for the Len Wiseman directed Total Recall added a touch of unintended irony as there were many moments, not to mention a lot of the visual elements, which seemed to suggest that there was a hell of a lot of recall from those in charge so openly did it wear its influences on its sleeves. Even the poster ripped off Source Code.
Given that it’s a remake there will certainly be a level of crossover from the 1990 Paul Verhoeven film but the new behind the scenes video below talks to the cast about the new film and there’s a clear indication that they are looking to make this their own film. Open minds all round of course, so let’s sit back with a stiff drink and watch Colin Farrell, Jessica Biel and Kate Beckinsale wax lyrical shall we?
