With the third installment of Disney’s Descendents about to commence filming, it has been revealed that Thomas Doherty and Sarah Jeffrey will back to reprise their roles in the feature.
The highly-anticipated third movie in a trilogy about the teenage sons and daughters of Disney’s most infamous villains will see Jeffrey return as the Beautiful and prim Audrey, the daughter of Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty).

Thomas Doherty and Dylan Playfair will reprise their roles as Harry and Gil, members of Uma’s pirate crew, joining Dove Cameron as Mal, Cameron Boyce as Carlos, Sofia Carson as Evie, Booboo Stewart as Jay, Mitchell Hope as King Ben and China Anne McClain as Uma.
Directed by Emmy® and DGA Award-winning Kenny Ortega, Descendants 3 is written by Sara Parriott and Josann McGibbon (The Starter Wife, Runaway Bride, Descendants, Descendants 2) who, with Kenny Ortega (Descendants and its sequel, High School Musical trilogy) and Wendy Japhet (Descendants and its sequel, An Education), are also the movie’s executive producers.
Descendants 2 premiered two years after Descendants and was the top-rated telecast on Disney Channel UK since the original movie in 2015. It also boasts franchise extensions that have engaged kids worldwide, with music videos having garnered nearly two billion global views.
Jeffrey can be seen in the direct-to DVD movie Daphne and Velma and The CW Network’s pilot of Charmed.
As well as starring in The Lodge, Doherty will next be seen in High Strung: Free Dance as Zander opposite Jane Seymour.
The Disney Channel Original Movie begins production next month for a 2019 premiere.
