We’re now just six weeks or so away from the return of The Walking Dead, and AMC has today released a promo which sheds some light on what we should expect from the show’s new big bad, Negan. Played by Watchmen and The Good Wife star Jeffrey Dean Morgan, the character looks set to make The Governor look like a really kind hearted soul in comparison.
We already know that one of the survivors will meet their maker at the hands of Negan and his trusty barbed wire covered baseball bat Lucille, but their identity is a closely guarded secret. Fans of the comic book series think they know who it will be, but The Walking Dead has frequently taken liberties with the source material, so there’s actually no guarantee!

That helps to make season seven all the more exciting of course. In the video below, we get to see Negan imposing his will over Rick Grimes and company as we learn that the Saviors are making their presence felt at Alexandria as the survivors are forced to play by their rules. Needless to say, The Walking Dead can’t return soon enough based on this latest promo.
Can’t wait for this to start, so many theories flying about for who’s “eaten” Negan’s bat. I’ve no idea who it is. Thoughts anyone?

They really left us hanging at the end of season 6! I’ve read everyone has filmed a death scene with Lucille so there could be no leaks, not sure how true that is, but it would make sense.
I’m really hoping it’s not Glenn as he’s my favourite character. But hey, I liked Dale, Andrea & T-Dog too 😛
